WELCOME TO QUARTER 3.....YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!

College Prep
1) 60 Minutes: "Football Island" A good way to start off the quarter. Let's get inspired to work hard!
2. Hamlet: We have been away from Hamlet for a while....we did a "mock" test on Act I, in order to see what people remembered AND so everyone could get on the same "page." This, in turn, became your notes. We then used the lovely acting talents of BK and Lee in order to act out Act 2 Scent 1 (100s on participation for both of these great sports!!)....your assignment is to read in Act 2.2 UNTIL Hamlet enters the scene (dont read past this). ALSO, feel free to skip the section involving "Voltimand" speaking.

Honors English
1) 60 Minutes: "Football Island" It is all about your heart!
2)Monte Cristo: There was NO reading assignment due today...we viewed a power point/took notes on CHRIST IMAGERY apparent in the novel...the reading assignment for Friday involves reading chapter 17 THROUGH 20....we will most likely do some in-class writing on Friday....

1) 60 Minutes: "Football Island" Proving that the blockage of Facebook isnt that bad after all...
2) Hamlet: We've been away for a while! We need to catch up! In order to do this, we did a review of Act I by doing the "mock" test as a class....then we went over this, using the film (once again, as SO MANY people were absent when we watched it) as our guide. At this point, we are DONE with Act I. If you are lacking notes, GET THEM or you will fall behind. COME TO SCHOOL. LOTS OF ABSENCES lately. These are going to hurt people. We start Act 2 (and do writing) on Friday
