1. Same as the orange day class....continue with voice activities and writing processes....your first essay, which is due Monday, is "Describe what your clothing says about you." Remember that CLOTHING is actual clothes...but also accessories, jewelery, piercings, or anything else you carry with you! What does clothing say (or not say) about your IDENTITY!!??

"Compare or Contrast the character of Beowulf to a modern day hero of your choice. You may choose any 'modern day' hero you would like (athlete...superhero...soldier...parent...etc etc!!).   Grading will mostly be focused on your introduction/thesis and your three examples from Beowulf the story to compare/contrast him with a modern day hero.

With Ms Wadsworth, read and discuss section 3 of Beowulf.....we will go over all of this next time!

Describe an incident--or series of incidents--where a seemingly positive quality (like loyalty, pride, etc) can become a FLAW that damages a person's life. Use at least one store we have read in this unit to exemplify this point. 
I did not give you a due date for this paper yet....we will discuss it next week in class
