HOMEWORK: Read "The Tell-Tale Heart" in textbook on page 81.

1. Talked about prompts/ passed in scholarship applications.
2. Looked at examples of college essays (one good, one bad)
3. Web organizers & outlines.
HOMEWORK: Use a web organizer to narrow your topic from a general prompt (such as tell a personal story) TO a topic that you really want to write about.  Write an outline of this topic for next time.  I will collect both the web and the outline. Remember outlines look like:

etc.  If you cannot get more than 1 section and three subsections, please find more content.
