**tomorrow's sub plans for Black Day**

NOTE: If you had me today ((orange day...the day I am posting this) please look at my PREVIOUS blog post for your specific classes. THIS post is for my black day students that I would see tomorrow. I will be out and Mr Merrill will be your sub. Below are the plans left for him...I am posting so you can see the assignment as well. Thanks and have a great Friday!!
********

BLOCK 1: ENGLISH 12: This small class was working in the library during the last class on a HAMLET 'diagnosis' project. They should have the assignment. Would you please remind them that their projects are due next Tuesday? I would like you to give them the first 20 minutes to work on their projects/go to the library if they need to. After that 20 minutes is over, would you please have them start watching the film of HAMLET beginning at the end of Act 4. The DVD is on top of the DVD player, and one of the kids can help you....also, one of the kids can 'cue' the film where we left off—right at the funeral of Ophelia. They should watch as much of the film as they can. If you dont finish it, all the better, since then I can talk them through it next time!!

BLOCK 2: HONORS: This class is reading THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO. For today, they needed to read through chapter 54. Would you please distribute the study guide on my desk to them? The study guide covers chapters 51 through 57....but they should only answer the questions for chapters 51, 52, 53, and 54! Would you please remind them their papers (assigned last class) will be due next TUESDAY? With the remaining time after doing the study guide, they can begin tonight's reading assignment, which is to read chapters 55 through chapter 60.

COLLEGE PREP: Please follow the same plan as for block 1, as they are doing essentially the same thing. The only difference is this: They have a 'Hamlet Mood' paper due next Thursday, and, as they watch the film, they should pay special attention to information that will help them provide good examples in their paper. Would you please remind them that their projects are due to be presented on Tuesday? Thanks!!
