1. "Cell Phone" story activity, with hyphenated modifier, hyperbole, simile
2. Hamlet
-be sure to understand the TO BE OR NOT TO BE soliloquy...I tried to explain it, but we saw how that went....
-writing prompt in class: Have you seen others (or yourself) singled out and judged, much in the same way Claudius and Polonius are singling out Hamlet in order to get him in trouble? Explain your story or example. You must use two of the following in your writing: hyphenated modifier, simile, hyperbole

-roots, definitions, examples, connections
-work in class "rooting" out words (game) and finding other examples of these rootwords...make sure that, for each root, you find your own example word so on Monday we may go over them....
