1. Discuss film, intro to persuasion, bogus law suits, issues, and things that defy status quo....
2. Speech assigned: Argue against something widely accepted by YOU or society (school should be year round, pizza is an awful food, basketball is the worst sport, etc). Work on this and you will have time on Tuesday as well to finish it
3. Begin presenting film clips on confidence....

-Read article from "English Journal" on using creative nonfiction to write a college essay
-we will continue the discussion next time, in order that we could hear from CBL about their awesome experience at the kid's cancer ward....
