-worksheets galore....read about different types of paragraphs....take notes....work on topic sentences....etc.....
-your homework is to pick TWO of the different types/situations of paragraphs (compare/contrast...argument....narrative....description...sensory...etc) and write a paragraph WITH A GOOD TOPIC SENTENCE for each one. So, then, you are writing two paragraphs for a participation grade!!!
2. Dont forget that your Greek Root word vocab quiz is on FRIDAY!!! Look on the top left corner of my white board for the bonus answer on the vocab quiz (reward for checking the blog!!!!)

-read on in class together.....discuss 'what a piece of work is man' section...my fave...
-notes on 'players' and psychological association...
-you need to read the final soliloquy "O what a rogue and peasant slave am I...." make sure to read it and jot down some reactions to what it is about, etc. Be prepared to share, and always be prepared for a quiz!

-view episode of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT about Buster
-collect two pieces of data that support the claim "Buster is a loving and compassionate brother"
-hold onto these and we will use them next time
-view "Key Decisions" and begin collecting data on a character you would like to write about. REMEMBER: Your paper assignment (I will give you due date on Monday) will be to craft your C,D,W piece about ANY character in the show....it should be an argumentative claim....and you need to support it with data and warrant!! PLEASE ASK if you are confused!!

2. BUT**** I would encourage all of you to look at IC...grades for the start of Q4 are VERY low...many of you did not do the first paper,and it is too late to use a tech day unfortunately. ALSO, many of you did not turn in the classwork from Monday (something a Mainer should know). It is not too late to give that to me!!!
